Romit Dasgupta
With an experience of more than two decades as an entrepreneur, investor, and technology leader, Romit has a passion for connecting the dots and creating value across various domains and businesses. He holds an MBA from Imperial College London, a BS in Computer Science from Syracuse University (USA), certificates from Harvard Business School and London Business School. He is also an angel investor in several companies. He specializes in technology, risk management, cross-border payment solutions, SWIFT, fraud detection & prevention, machine learning, new business development, strategy, and management consulting. He is a past YPO member and currently sits on the board of TiE Dubai.

Romit‘s journey as an entrepreneur has been shaped by the roots of his upbringing, and at the core of it are his parents. Since early age Romit has been deeply influenced by his father Bikram Dasgupta (www.bikramdasgupta.com) – a world renowned entrepreneur who is among the early pioneers of the Indian Information Technology Industry and the founder of Globsyn Group (www.globsyn.com) which has diversified interest in multiple industries. While his business acumen has been shaped by his father, his mother Ranjana Dasgupta has been instrumental in instilling the human values in him.
Today Romit and along with his twin brother Rahul are keeping the entrepreneurship flag of their family high and taking the different businesses into the next level.
Romit currently lives in Dubai with his wife Oindrila and their lovely daughter Mishka.
